Gifts of Stock

Your donation of an appreciated security can provide tax advantages related to capital gains in addition to the standard charitable deduction as a donor. To make a gift of stock, please contact our Vice President of Operations, Veronica Rohrlack, at 404.809.2932.

Holiday Adoption

Imagine having only $733/month to cover your family’s full living expenses. Tough, huh? Now imagine trying to provide your family a beautiful holiday complete with decorations, a special dinner and thoughtful gifts in addition to your daily living expenses. Impossible, right? Well, that is the harsh reality for many of the individuals and families served by AADD. You can help AADD ensure that our participants who live in deep, persistent poverty are not forgotten during the holiday season by supporting our Holiday Adoption program. By adopting a family or making a donation, you can help provide gifts, food, warm winter clothing, utility assistance and other items on our program participants’ holiday wish lists. Our Holiday Adoption program runs November through December. For more information, contact AADD’s Development Office at 404.881.9777.

Georgia Gives Day

Launched by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits in 2012, Georgia Gives Day is a unique, all-online fundraising initiative built for nonprofits to raise as much money as possible in 24 hours. Georgia Gives Day 2017 is scheduled for Thursday, November 16. Georgia Gives Day is one of the primary ways that AADD raises money for its annual Holiday Adoption program. And, if we reach or exceed our Georgia Gives Day goal, we become eligible to receive additional funds via the SunTrust Financial Well-being matching challenge. You can support AADD by making a donation here on Georgia Gives Day 2017.

United Way Workplace Giving

If you are an employee of the Federal, State, or Atlanta City government, or one of the many corporations and organizations that participate in the United Way of Greater Atlanta workplace giving campaign, you can support the work of AADD by designating your gift to our organization. By designating your gift to AADD, you will be supporting the life-changing work of one of Georgia’s oldest private providers of human services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families, while also helping to achieve your employer’s campaign goals.

Use the “My Commitment to Another Charity/Charities” section of the United Way pledge form to designate your gift to All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD, Inc.).
