Individual & Family Support

AADD’s Family Support Services provide an integral support system for families with special needs. Each family is assigned an Outreach Specialist who assists them in identifying needs and preferences for services such as health care, education, housing, transportation, budgets and finances, and employment. Many Outreach Specialists work with the same families for decades, assuring them that their basic needs and concerns are met with stabilizing continuity.

We develop a customized action plan for success and personal empowerment. From transportation assistance and health care support to literacy skills training and job referral services, we ensure individuals are positioned for the greatest opportunities afforded by their unique situation. But, we don’t stop there, we also identify and address circumstances in the home and family environment that are impacting the road to personal empowerment and family stability. This includes providing parenting skills training and working to ensure families can stay together.
