DIRECT SERVICES WITH AADD

AADD is focused on family support and family preservation services for individuals with developmental disabilities. These services are intensive enough to meet family needs and keep children safe, but vary with each family according to their specific situation. They may include services such as accompanying an individual to court, supporting an individual who has been abused, transporting to and assisting at a grocery store, teaching parenting skills, and/or connecting individuals to community resources.

Referrals for services begin with a phone call or an email. An up-to-date psychological evaluation with a full-scale IQ will be requested. AADD is licensed to provide family support services only in Fulton, DeKalb, and Clayton counties. For intake call Riki Bolster at 404.881.777 x223 or contact her at riki@aadd.org.

OTHER SERVICES

Knowledgeable resource specialists at AADD can supply information about other services (for example, respite, recreation, camps, therapies, support groups) that might be available through its information, assistance and referral program. Callers can learn more about the state developmental disabilities service system as well as discuss options available to their family. For information, call Riki Bolster at 404.881.9777 x223 or contact her at riki@aadd.org.
