LEGACY BREAKFAST 2010

  • Who ~ An estimated 300 of your fellow Georgia community leaders.
  • What ~ Beginning in 2003, Legacy is an annual awareness and fundraising event for All About Developmental Disabilities, Inc.
  • Why ~ Since 1956, AADD has grown from a local, grass-roots not-for-profit organization founded by a group of concerned parents to become Georgia’s premiere provider of family support, advocacy, and education for children, adults, and families living with developmental disabilities. In its 54-year history, AADD has been at the forefront of building strong collaborative partnerships. The result of these partnerships is increased public awareness of the benefits to our culture when we are inclusive of persons with developmental disabilities, and the promotion of needed policy change to ensure that people living with developmental disabilities are heard and respected at every level of society. This annual event helps us achieve our goals so we can continue this “legacy.”
  • Where ~ This year, the breakfast will be held at the Atlanta History Center, 130 West Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta, Georgia, 30305.
  • When ~ Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.
  • How ~ In-kind donations and generous sponsors, whether foundations or individuals, allow us to implement our programs and continue providing innovative initiatives to better the lives of families living with developmental disabilities and society as a whole.
