Be a holiday hero – adopt a family in need!
With the holiday season right around the corner, now is the perfect time to adopt a family in need. No time to shop? You can give online now to make sure the wish lists of families with developmental disabilities are fulfilled.
With the majority of our program participants living on $733 per month to cover their full living expenses, a season that is meant to be joyous and celebratory can be just the opposite. In Georgia, more than 98,000 individuals with a disability live below the poverty line.
You can help AADD ensure that our participants who live in deep, persistent poverty are not forgotten. By adopting a family or making a donation, you can help provide gifts, food, warm winter clothing, utility assistance and other items on our program participants’ holiday wish lists.
Prefer to donate your time instead? Great! We need volunteers too!
