AADD Hosts Salons To Generate New Thinking for the Future

Salon: A grassroots forum to discuss issues related to developmental disability

AADD is hosting a number of “Salons” to facilitate parents, siblings, self-advocates, providers and other concerned citizens in small group discussion and forward-thinking on important issues and trends that effect the quality of life for people living with developmental disabilities. Given new legislation, changes in Medicaid waiver definitions, the economy, and evolving philosophy on best practices, now is the time to pursue new thinking and to create new models.

Let’s push the conversation to a new level and get our creative side working to dream and co-create new ideas and possibilities for the future.
