MAKE A DONATION Thanks to donors like you, hundreds of families living with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, spina bifida, autism, or other developmental disabilities are receiving information and support that enables them to access health care, housing, and other necessities. With your dollars we can help more people attend school, receive job training, find and keep jobs, and learn how to speak up for themselves more effectively. With your help, women like Kendra, a young mother with developmental disabilities, are recovering from violence or sexual abuse through our Women Against Violence (WAV) Support Group. With AADD’s help, Kendra moved from an abusive situation to a stable home life for herself and her sons; she went from unemployment to a steady job that pays her a living wage. And through the WAV group, she has the opportunity to mentor other women with developmental disabilities facing similar challenges.
